The Regulatory Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that researches and promotes good law-making methodology and regulatory techniques.

We serve law-makers seeking to regulate activities in their jurisdiction and citizens who benefit from the public goods and services that are regulated well.

The Regulatory Institute can assist the resource constrained law-maker by assisting in the:

  • Preparation of guidance materials and other texts on regulatory techniques and methods of law-making;

  • Provision of training, advice and consultancy services on regulatory techniques and methods of law-making; and

  • Commenting on draft regulation on request, or in the framework of public consultations or through parliamentary processes.
